Start with technical fit, not price alone

Acoustic panel accessories depend on the panel geometry. A supplier should be able to discuss slat width, gap, depth, clamp contact and expected use rather than only quote from a photo.

Ask about development capability

For non-standard panels, useful capabilities include 3D modeling, prototype printing, dimension review and sample iteration. This is especially important for distributors that want a product family rather than one isolated item.

Review material consistency

Ask which material will be used for production, how colors are controlled and whether print orientation or process settings are standardized. A sample made one way is not useful if production changes the structure without approval.

Check documentation

Depending on the product and market, buyers may need product specifications, material declarations, packaging information, installation instructions, HS-code support or compliance documents. Confirm what the supplier can actually provide.

Packaging and labeling matter

Retail-ready accessories may need EAN labels, individual boxes, model identification and multilingual instructions. Project buyers may prefer bulk packaging. Define this before the final unit price is agreed.

Use samples to qualify the supplier

A physical sample on the real acoustic panel can reveal fit and installation issues that are invisible in drawings. Record the approved version and make it the reference for mass production.
